Mama Neném Project

Mama Neném was a social project that I created to promote and encourage breastfeeding as advocated by Health Organizations and the WHO.

The project supported mothers over a period of 5 years during the challenging and demanding journey of breastfeeding.

The subject was addressed with the importance of public and social health: children breastfed according to the guidelines become less prone to illnesses.

All articles created for Mama Neném now form the collection of information within the Mãe Pop portal.

In 2019, the Mama Neném project was recognized for its excellence in all its work focused on the maternal audience in support and encouragement of breastfeeding.

From informative publications, digital campaigns, and presence on social media to online support groups, planning, and organizing courses to develop talents supporting and promoting breastfeeding, it is the only project that has received this recognition in Brazil and South America.

Over 17 million women and professionals have already visited the Mãe Pop portal, more than 200 breastfeeding promoters have been excellently trained, and over 300 thousand mothers are impacted daily on social media and the website. The Mama Neném Project promoted breastfeeding both online and offline.
